Orlando Chiropractor Explains Chiropractic Massage

Call Central Florida Injury & Wellness Center, P.A. at 407-277-0046 to make your appointment.
Orlando Chiropractor explains that Chiropractic Massage is two words that mean very different things. Chiropractic refers to the proper alignment of your body, spine and bones. Massage concerns your muscles and tissues. Massage is administered either before or after your adjustment in order to relax and aid with your re-alignment.
Orlando Chiropractor says that often times it is the muscles surrounding your skeleton that are contributing to your lack of alignment. Muscles pull on bones, and over the years this can lead to displacement that causes discomfort and pain. Manipulating muscles and connective tissues can help loosen and unlock them. Loose muscles will pull less on your bones and result in less distortion in your frame. Proper alignment helps to ensure the free flow of nerve impulses and circulation of blood and lymph.
Massage helps reduce stress, blood pressure, and decrease muscle spasms and cramping that are due to an injury. It also helps relax the muscles so your body can become more receptive to the adjustments you receive.
